Development Team
- Gail Forsyth-Vail (author, Stories in Faith), is a master’s level credentialed religious educator who serves the UUA as Adult Programs Director. She holds an M.A. from Rivier College. Gail is the 2007 recipient of the Angus MacLean Award for Excellence in Religious Education.
- Judith Frediani, a master’s level credentialed religious educator, served as Project Director of Tapestry of Faith until her retirement in 2013. Judith oversaw the content, development, quality, budget, staff, and timeline of all Tapestry curricula and resources, seeing that the project vision and Unitarian Universalist religious education philosophy are embodied in Tapestry of Faith.
- Aisha Khadr Hauser (co-author, Wonderful Welcome), an associate level credentialed religious educator, served the UUA as the Children and Families Program Director until 2012. She holds an M.S.W. and currently serves as Director of Religious Education at East Shore Unitarian Church (Bellevue, WA).
- Susan Dana Lawrence (co-author, Wonderful Welcome; co-author, Miracles; editor, Creating Justice Together), serves the UUA as Managing Editor for the Ministries and Faith Development staff group. A member of First Parish Unitarian Universalist of Malden, Massachusetts, she holds an M.A.T. from Tufts University.
- Alicia LeBlanc, Ministerial Credentialing Administrator in the UUA Ministries and Faith Development staff group, served as Administrative and Editorial Assistant for the UUA Faith Development staff group until 2016. She was responsible for office administration, proofreading, and curriculum field tests, while maintaining the stories and permissions databases for Tapestry of Faith. Alicia has a B.A. in English and a certificate in Secondary Education from Merrimack College. In 2014, she completed an M.A. in Literature at the University of Massachusetts
- Adrianne Lee Ross (co-author, Miracles) served as Project Manager for Tapestry of Faith from the project's inception until 2013. She is a Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) with the Project Management Institute and a Certified Scrum Master with a certificate in Project Management from Boston University.
- Jessica York (co-author, Creating Home; co-author, Sharing the Journey: Small Group Ministry with Youth) serves as UUA Faith Development Director and, as of 2017, Co-director of the Ministries and Faith Development staff group. Previously, Jessica held the position of Youth Programs Director at the UUA. She holds a B.A. from Yale and has done graduate work in fine arts at Tulane University.
- Margy Levine Young, UUA Web Team Manager, serves as the software engineer for Tapestry of Faith. A lifelong UU, she has written religious curricula for children and youth and is a trained Our Whole Lives facilitator. Her career in teaching and writing about computers includes co-authoring books such as the best-selling The Internet For Dummies. Margy has a B.A. in computer science from Yale.
