International Justice and Action

The diverse theologies that make up the global Unitarian Universalist tradition are centered around inspiring lives of activism for a more just, loving, and inclusive world. The Sixth Principle of Unitarian Universalism speaks of working towards achieving the goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all. International engagement is a key element of the justice work that Unitarian Universalists are involved in every day.

Learn more about the specific programs and organizations that are powered by and through Unitarian Universalism and how you can be involved in contributing to our global story by taking action for justice.

Advancing justice and equity in India since 1984, the UUA's Holdeen India Program (UUHIP) partners with organizations that stand with the country's most vulnerable citizens as they seek dignity and empowerment.

Translating UU values into bold action, UUHIP supports long-term organizational partnerships in a spirit of solidarity and global community.
